Anyone know what kind of snake this is?

i think its more about the coverage and "safe places" then anything .. but i have never done planted .. so i would like to try that if i do this..
 
yeah and even if you do real plants the type she was talking about on that page is just a floating plant that isnt high light so i doubt you would even have to do anything special for it, hornwort is a great floating plant too that grows like crazy and is supposed to help alot with nitrates, she pretty much said to just have the plants at the top for coverage and then a nice hidy spot with place for him to anchor too, seems like as long as you do this, its pretty similar to keeping a large predatory fish, just keep water as clean as possible, def post pics if you do get one they look absolutely amazing
