I am sure that he is well aware of what owning a RTC entails, but still wouldn't flame anyone for wanting to make sure you are well informed. I still get someone every now and then saying "hey necro. You do know how big that rtc, tsn, and jau you have can get right?", I simply answer with about a page and a half worth of information that would take them at least 10 mins to read on the subject and leave it at that.
P.S. Good luck in your search. I looked for 8 years before I got my planiceps(RIP), and 2 years that I lived in montana. After getting frustrated I went to my LFS(there's only 3 in 100 miles), taught the owner all about RTC, let him see where it would live, and then he agreed to special order one for me at the price of $30.00. Even if your lfs doesn't carry them I garuntee they get the same list that all the others do, and 9 times out of 10 that list will have RTC listed. Never hurts to ask. Another suggestion is to give them your number incase anyone decides a catfish is too big for their tank. I have rescued many very nice fish like that. Good luck, and hopefully we'll see your next thread "my new baby rtc" very soon.
