could you imagine the food bill for a good 12-13' one. Every time it eats it would cost as much as I spend on food for 6 months. would you just buy half cows or something?

Actually, as someone who has kept adult crocs, food isn't as much as one would think.
Most of the actual work and money is while they are small and getting an enclosure built. Once they get to size, the attention shifts to safety rather than mnthly costs.
I bet my male was eating about $30 a week or so. Not too bad when you consider the size. Plus someone is always trying to get rid of an oversized pacu they bought at WalMart.
