Appears to be Florida

Either a marble gar or a Florida gar hard to tell until their a little bigger. If the black line stays consistent its marbled gar. Here's what my Florida looks like at about 11inch

Found my marbled gar to compair it to

It's a florida.

Jamesrazel both your gars are floridas. One just displaying juvenile colouration.

Actually it's very obvious what that fish is. If you don't know how to tell the difference perhaps you shoulldn't be advising people on the identification of their fish.

Fish stores always label florida gar as marble gar, I have not clue why since they look nothing alike
