Anyone know????

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
You could always build one yourself too. Wood (2x4s and plywood) walls and pool liner is one way to go, we have a 1500 gal at work like that.

Thanks everyone, I am looking for something under $1000. I sucks at DIY so i guess I just have to spend the money. He is only about 20" right now in my 300, so i know i have a little time but not much:). I will keep looking and see what i can find. Thanks again, but if you guys find something please post here. Thanks again.

For under $1000 for the full setup, you are looking at a pool. With DIY filtration.l

Did this this past summer...probably cost me less than $500 for an almost agricultural grade DIY filter I built myself after seeing lots of systems in professional aquaria and aquaculture.

I mean just for the pond. I have a little over 1600 and by next month i should have around 1800. I was just thinking if I spend 1000 for the pond i will get a ok or a good one. Have 800 or so for salt and filtration, do you mind to show me your filtration? If I can do it with 500 that will really be nice. Thanks

I think you are going to have a tough time only spending 500 on filtration. You will need that much in just pumps for water movement. Then a skimmer for a tank that size will most likely run 500-1000 dollars. Then add anything you want like rock, sand, and lighting. There are going to be a lot of costs associated with building and maintaining something this large and I think you should have a plan laid out for what you all want in your setup.

I think you will have a hard time buying something in your range that isnt a pool for under $1000.

Most of those things are close to $1000 at smaller sizes than the pool, and that is before you ship something that weighs hundreds of pounds and is a huge cylinder to wherever you are.

Pumps you are looking at spending at least $500. The pump I ran on that thing this summer was close to a grand.
