Makes me wish I lived in Florida so I could hit up cruises more often. If you book a week in advance you can go for like $199!
yeah, thats the only thing holding me back from the caribbean/bahamas. id have to catch a flight to the other side of the country. the mexico cruise leaves from LA, so its just a few hours drive from me...

While waiting to leave Florida we saw a ton of these rays swimming around. I believe they are some sort of eagle ray.

I've never been on a cruise, but I'm going on an 8 day "cruise" through the Galapagos in June. It's not your normal massive ship. It has a 16 person capacity not including crew, but it will still be awesome.

I agree with what someone said about Disney treating you like royalty. I haven't been on their cruises, but I've stayed at three of their Florida resorts and eaten at a few others and they are crazy. Even the cheap(er) rooms in the resorts are nice. At the Polynesian, they have a Hawaiian restaurant that's all you can eat. I felt like I had a pound each of teriyaki wings, steak, and shrimp because they wouldn't stop bringing it. And for dessert, I probably ate an entire fresh pineapple myself lol

Not sure if its just me but I got offered a lot of drugs.

Happens to me ALL the time, even when Im not on vacation...

The formal dinner is worth it boyz! They offer you food there that you dont get at the buffet! We are talking 5 star quality food that would normally cost hundreds of dollars in addition to being all you can eat!

We did do the dinner the first night. But Carnival pairs you if you are not in a big party with like 6 other people so we sat at a 8 person table with 3 other couples, 2 of which were newly weds...so you know what the conversations were like. So we just avoided the dinners because the ship seemed almost empty without everyone around.
