Have been bitten by corn snakes, mice, rats, guinea pigs, rabbits, parakeets, conures, blind cave tetras, natal rats, gerbils, tiger cubs, fennec fox, emus, etc. Yes, I worked at a zoo for years. Thankfully I haven't lost any fingers yet.
lets see... I've been bitten by corn snakes, ball pythons, leos, almost everything that i've tried to catch, dogs, cats, chinchillas, hedgehogs, parrots, a raccoon, horses, cows, sheep, turtles, girlfriends.....
my RES bit me a few times while I was hand feeding it. the 6" shelled male really hurt, it didnt want to let go and gave me a blue finger from internal bleeding... I also once accidentally leaned over on a garter snake in the grass and it bit my hand, that didnt hurt as much but bled quite a bit. watch where you sit down while fishing.
I've never been bitten by my Blue Tongue Skink but they are generally docile creatures. He's my baby <3 I've had a cornsnake before and got bit by the little lady once, it bled but didn't hurt and I could never hold a grudge against her. I have also cared for iguanas when they were in-between homes and a smaller juvie male about a foot snout to vent jumped at my face and bit my lip but I think it was my fault because it was dark and I'm pretty sure I startled him. LOL
