I'm confused... is the ebay seller mentioned selling the same brand lights as the website mentioned?

Ahh, yes. Sorry for not specifying. Same exact light. The only difference is he was better concerned for the customer. That and the fact through him I could order a light with 2 6700 bulbs. From AT, it looked like the only thing they offered was the same fixture but with a 12k, and a actinic bulb. But I wouldn't know because they never emailed me back after the first time.

So I paid a few bucks more, but supported a smaller guy. :headbang2

That's good to know because AT doesn't even have most stuff in stock! And, like you found, they never answer my emails. Thanks for the heads up! I will definitely order from this guy.

AT is usually pretty good to me. Customer service after the buy sucks (30 day guarantee) but up until they are pretty good. Live chat used to be better.

That being said...if you found a similar price from a smaller guy, good for you. My friends and I (several) are all running AT fixtures on planted tanks right now. Some of their more advanced T5 fixtures allow you to turn on some lights and not others too.

i dont really know if i have missed the discussion here, but i have the 30" quad bulb, and will soon be buying a 36" 2 bulb....they work good and are nice, and the led's moonlights look cool,

they are nice simple, but it stinks cuz the lights all have individual lights, so 2 bulbs have 1 cord...so 4 bulbs with moonlights= 3 cords.....boooooo!

There's a reason they have three cords... it's so you can set each plug up on an individual timer. Have one light come on in the AM, both lights around noon, a different temp light for afternoon, and the LED lights on at night.

Got the unit in yesterday. Very plain(painted black), and the brackets didn't work on my tank the way they were intended. But the quality looks fine. I'm sure the reflector could be better but I don't mind some wasting of light. These 2 bulbs put me in the high light category so I'm going to have to be careful. I'm going to cut the amount of time they are on and if it comes down to it, just pull a bulb out.
