Anyone see river monsters tonight

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I thought the comment from the Florida game official was interesting. He put the blame for the snakehead invasion NOT on the hobbyist or fishkeepers, but on persons releasing them for Asian market harvesting.

this may have been my favorite part, if only all florida fish and game officers didn't immediately blame irresponsible pet owners for invasive species.
i also liked the part where they showed that snakeheads, at least bullseye snakeheads, cant really crawl around very well on land
river monsters did a good job of showing snakeheads for what they really are, not for what the media has made them out to be

yeah i just watched it that was a good show enough tho they r mean lil bastards they r cool fish ..my girl said its from ppl dumpin em till i said ok well then how they spawning she shut up after that and let me watch the show ...lol...i know here in pa its pretty quite ..dont hear to much about em but md had alot a few yrs back ...guess ima have to start fishing again

Verry unlikely to find them in Colorado if I lived somewhere else I would hunt them down to keep I would get rid of all my fish and keep a giant snakehead

That was a pretty cool episode, but what had me a little upset was the episode on stingrays. If anyone gets the chance to watch it pay close attention to what's laying on the table when the host Jeremy is looking at a pic and talking to the guy who caught one. And it's a fairly large and common MFK kept fish..........

I had to go back and watch it, you mean this CK?

If so, it's just like all the other fish we consider awesome here that are just food somewhere else in the world...

That's exactly what I'm talking about. But yes, they eat them as food where here we keep them as pets. The same can be said for oscars........

....and almost every other monster fish that we like to keep...I imagine some of these native people probably think we are quite foolish for spending the money that we do on food that they catch for free.

Yeah they are already here in the USA. Take a road trip to FL and go fishing. They are easy to trasport and really hardy. I think you could drive him back in a bucket. It's like a 2 and a half day drive from CO to FL. I have done the cross country trip 2 times now.

That's the only why you will get one in the states.
