They are being sold at PetSmart/Co up and down California. GloFish is a common brand at all of them.

Well I don't live in california so IDK, but they are illegal in California, I guess it just isn't very well enforced

I reached out Fish & Wildlife in California and the Glofish ban in California was rescinded in 2015.

The restriction against Glofish was lifted in (I believe) 2015. They are legal.

That was nice of them to respond. Also there are internet stores in Cal that sell these so now it makes sense. I guess there was push back from the fish hobby lobby.

I don't know why there'd be push back as most people in the hobby dislike glofish
