Anyone starved a Datnoid to death??

Hi guys

I got a 7" IT about 1 month ago.....only fed on MP and beefheart. Been starving it to get it to try and take hikari carnivore pellets.......have not eaten at all for 1 month....and no interest whatsoever.

Will he die of starvation???? I don't think so but would like to hear from your experience..

I have an 4 inch NGT that did not eat for 8 months. I was getting him off of feeders and now he eats MP. He had gotten really really skinny, especially around the head area. I thought for sure he was going to starve himself but he gave in and ate. It sounds cruel, but I wasn't going to give in, and the choice was his. I think he made the right one.
