People who are in the army are regular joe's...we don't raise kids from birth to be war machines(...however you could argue that with the games we buy we are). However not ever single person enlisted wants to shoot-to-kill, or rather not every person enlisted for that reason. You need to remember that there are hundreds of personnel in the armed forces whos jobs have nothing to do with the brute force aspect. (such as radio operators, etc)

As far as generation kill, if you're talking about the mini series, i've seen the entire thing.

Its not about banning video games, their not the problem. People and access to weapons is the problem. If someone is going to shoot someone they obviously have issues to start with. Like someone who kills themselves, they didn't kill themselves just because they were told too are saw someone else do it and thought it was cool. They obviously had some major issues to start with. However, everything can contribute little bits and pieces to the final outcome. However, in the end we cannot blame video games or advertisements. Its about several factors such as parenting, access to guns, education, mental health awareness, and so many other things. I mean do you blame commercials for alcohol as the reason people drink or become alcoholics? No, people will do it regardless.

Exactly,and neither am I so I did not know this about him untill I read it here .You referred to those who look up to the man and it would seem that at least some of them would take the time to learn some things about him if they are so impressed with him.
