Anyone tried this lighting system?

Here are what the current odyssea fixtures look like, they do have an aluminum body and an acrylic cover. The reflector is a common unit for both bulbs which I would guess is not ideal. The ballast is external down near the plug so that may annoy some. Here are some pics of my 3 year old's community tank we put together on a budget:

This is very helpful information. My next set of lights will be Catalina, most likely. Not much more than Odyssea, and seems to be worth the extra few bucks.

haven't bought lights from Catalina, but I have bought bulbs ... I think their bulbs are very good, and their customer service is very good ... when I had a question, they answered right away, and when a bulb broke, they replaced it right away ... no probs

Is there a way to hang the Catalina lights? I'd love to get a 2xT5 fixture over my riparium but didn't see any hanging hardware on their site.
