Just wondering if anyone here has incorporated a sieve pre filter into their aquariums? I'm working on setting up a 2000 gallon system with one now and would like to see some others out there.
Personally have not used one. But isn't it basically like a wet/dry trickle tower?
Instead of filter floss/wool, you use a sieve instead?
Not really like a wet dry, I will be using a gravity fed sieve in combination with a separate reservoir for a sump and an ultima II 6000 bead filter.
I always wanted to incorporate one for aquarium use. I think it would be great for big poop fish or rays. Just need to drain the collector basin and no washing is what I like. Let us know how it turns out.
