Anyone use filter media off ebay?

I have used that exact stuff bought from that exact same guy. I didn't like the results I had using it in a canister(clogged easily), but it worked perfect for HOB filters and works wonders in my wet/dry filter.

Sounds like I'll like it. I want it for fine particles and I rinse that kind of pad every 2-3 weeks. So it didn't feel kinda sticky like there were chemicals on it?

I never rinse it. I just cut a new piece and replaced it.

that's a better deal than when I bought it. I might buy his rolls. Better act fast. LOL
