You don't, but it's more convenient

I'd take a look at getting the Hagen Glo fixture instead.

Overpriced. Lacks individual reflectors, doesn't include bulbs, and still costs more than a Nova Extreme fixture.

They do look nice though.

I saw an ad for these in TFH a few days ago. The price is good, about the same as a nova extreme, but it sounds like it doesn't have individual reflectors.
