Anyone used a Reeflo commercial pump?

For sure! I'll definitely be updating my build thread with them once I get my hands on them, plus I'll probably need some guidance on plumbing. In addition to the main system I'm going to have at least a few other tanks plumbed in. I bought way too much from this closing store.

I researched them a year ago. They are high head pumps and real power hogs. I would sell them and get a hammerhead.

That is something I've been seeing, looks like they use in the range of 1200-1500 watts which is a bit excessive. That said to flow 5000+ gph like I am going to need I am probably going to pushing that in pumps regardless. Especially if I put a smaller tank upstairs like I want to do.

I just looked up Hammerhead power useage, looks like about 355W, so a huge amount less. That said I would need two of them to put out the flow I am going to need. $900 in pumps will be a lot more than I can sell these for. I'm going to have to do a bit of research, especially once I know for sure what model these pumps are.

What about dc pumps?
I'm not of any DC pumps that handle any significant head with any high volume. Nothing that comes at all close to a hammerhead. I think the highest volume pump that isn't direct drive with any efficiency are the Laguna MaxFlo.

Just remember, the stingy man pays the most.
