Anyone wanna buy a helicopter?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Well obviously it is worth it because there has been 58 bids on her.

"ummmm... im gonna go buy a helo today..."

Thats outstanding.

It's overpriced! It's a 1981 model! 27 years old! And.....there's something wrong. It's only been averaging 163 hrs. of flight time a year! 6061 total landings for 4410 total hours? Something doesn't add up! And......most people couldn't afford.....1) the maintenance
2) storage/hangar fees 3) annual inspection 4) insurance 5) fuel 6) the $ it takes to get a helicopter license!!! I'd buy a nice airplane before this helicopter!

27 years old is still considered fairly new for an acft. 4410hrs divided by 163 equals 27. And.... you can land the acft more than once in an hour...

Duh! I did the math! 27 years old is not considered new either!
Helicopters land more than once an hour? Really?? :D
My point was that it has only been used for short hops!!!!

The birds i work on were built in the late 60's. Im just saying... ;)

1981 is considered new, i fly both fixed wing and choppers, for 800 g i think i would still buy an airplane, however heli's are good for hovering over nudist colonies lol
