Quite an unfortunate situation for that fish.
I wonder how many fish around the world are kept in these same conditions or worse? It's scary to think of the answer.

my wife would cry if she seen that. my lfs has a giant gourami and she loves the way it looks at you like its trying to figure you out and always looks interested in its surroundings. wont be showing her this thats for sure.

wow, what a pretty fish. I wasn't aware they colored up like that. All the big ones I see in the LFS are pretty drab.
OMG...that is soooo cruel.what is that a 29gal.that fish has to be in the high 20's.That beast is bigger then mine and he is about 27inches.what is that guy thinking ?????(or is he ???)but, there is always a but.he does look healthy.(this is my Giant)I hope that beautiful giant is not lunch.
