Anyone who needs a cheap monster pool.. Ace sale..

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I thought about one but I have a couple rubber maids laying arround for emergencys

I've been thinking about picking one of these up too ..........might have to do it...........

The one I saw was a lil more sturdy looking. Is the pump useless? obviousley the chlorine would not be used but could it be used for mech filtration? what else would do the job? I have the room in my basement and ace is my place, lol,. I want to do it pretty bad! Cheapest way to go hella monster in the world. The one i saw sai 1100 or 1500 I can't remember.

The pump is pretty much useless. They're not made to run 24/7 and the gph would be way too low to filter it with fish. I was thinking of doing one & just using the pump for 4-6 hours at a shot to pump water through a solar heater when it's cold. You could probably hook up some kind of pond filter and have better luck.

There are some sturdier ones by the same company (Intex?) that have the metal walls & a frame, seems like that would work better for fish. One thing I'd worry about is if I had any plecos or cats, their fins might pop the liner.

I have 5 plecos and three diferent cats all large in one of the inflatable ones and it has been up for well over a year no punctures or leaks

This was mentioned in another thread about these pools and I've not seen an answer. There were concerns that they might be treated with some anti-whatever chemicals....anyone find out?

Rottbo uses one of the inflatables I think with no problem with chemicals in the liner right?
