Anyone with info in Rita Catfish?

I just looked it up thats a sweet little catfish I'd hold on to it. We need more indian catfish keepers around here :). I think I have the only seperata in MFK!

and have you kept them with any other fish
as far as i have heard they don't usually co exist with others as they are pretty pretty aggressive
 
i've kept many, they're peaceful for the most part, and don't eat hands. slow growers too. their mouth is small, so they cannot swallow big objects like south american cats

Mine is pretty mellow. I have heard that they can get aggressive but so far no major issues. If he's bothered he will bite back but he rarely hassles any of the other fish without being provoked.
 

Only pic I got with my phone sorry. This is a while ago he's around 18" now.:headbang2
 
Rita rita are cool fish - I used to keep a few - they never got any bigger than about 5" though even though I had a pair for years .. quite aggressive although secretive fish.

I used to have a Sperata - it was really quite aggressive !!!!
