Heard that Bank of America and others will soon be charging higher ATM fees,account balance and other fees.
Anyone's bank about to to charge new fees?

i heard about this. i have had an acct with bofa since 97, i think i'm gonna leave them and go to a local branch or something

I've been with PNC for years and so far nothing new from them yet.Hopefully they won't jump on the wagon cause the one branch is very close to my home and I have a good relationship with the staff there.I'd hate to have to shut my account down but I won't be paying any extra fees just to access my money.
My bank Regions used to be totally free checking but now they are making a $1,500 minimum balance or they are going to charge $10 a month UNLESS you have direct deposit and a Atm card then they are going to charge $5 monthly fee for using the card at a store , but you won't get a fee if you only use the card at their Atm's .
I have banked with regions for years now but since they are doing this I am going to try and find a better bank !

is bofa gonna charge for using debit for purchases and at bofa atms?
if so, when is it gonna go down because i wanna find another bank before that happens
i don't really like bofa but they are everywhere so the convenience was nice but i wouldn't hesitate to leave them

I dont know about atms but they are def. going to start charging for use of debit, in which case I may also close my account.. I wonder if Chase is going to do it to, anyone know? I use them too....
