Anyones Fish get stung b4??

im pretty sure my Armatus got stung in his eye by one of my rays. just wondering if anyone elses fish ever got stung?

his eye has turned a little red and has bubbles in it now. he turned very pale, swimming w his head upward, and hiting his nose on the glass...

i salted the tank lightly but any more suggestions would be greatly appreciated. i dont think hes gonna make it...

You did the right thing. Just wait it out and hopefully it will heal. I once came home and found one of my large Wide Bars had a stinger sticking out of both sides of its face. I had to pull it out myself and he healed quickly.
 
My clown knife got stung in the face. he pulled through though. he sure did'nt learn anything from it, he still chases the ray around... good luck to you man
 
I had a pleco that got stung, killed him instantly, barb went right through its head, it was kind of funny but sad at the same time. The stinger never broke off so the ray was swimming around with a dead pleco on its stinger for a while until I pulled the pleco off
 
I hope Fang pulls through. That fish has been an inspiration to some of us. I may not have any Armatus now if Fang wasn't swimming around as a shining beacon of hope for those of us with Armatus in the freezer. I was gutted when I lost my first one. But knowing Fang was out there doin well was enough to get over the loss and get more in hopes of getting at least one up and over the 2 foot mark.
