anything besides pikes

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Work, Bowhunt, work, fish, Honeydew list, drink Tequila, work, work, work, work,Bowhunt, work, hunt, work some more, ah I think you
get the hint. Although I seem to be finding more time to get on MFK
BS a little.

bike, play soccer, drink excellent beer, go to work, travel whenever possible, visit zoos and aquariums, wish I had time to volunteer at the national zoo Amazon exhibit where I could play with leopoldi ray pups and stare at the arapaimas all day, and oh yeah, get the *#&$ flowerhorns and dovii out of the Amazon exhibit. Why the hell do they put hybrid crap and fish from a different continent into that exhibit??????? Give the dovii an exhibit of their own and chop the flowerhorns up as feed!!!

and there are a few dozen other hobbies I would like to get involved in - building model aircraft and watercraft, growing feedstocks to make biofuels while accomplishing CO2 sequestration, reading the news and books and trying to figure out who is really controlling the world and why the hell they're doing the dumb **** they're doing...

then I get back on the hunt for a male (or two) cincta and dream of having a garage with a 500 gallon tank to breed them in... with a dartboard on the other side and some home-brewing equipment scattered about, and a tattered old cozy couch or two...

ah *%^#, back to work

NICE a fellow flowerhorn hater!!

i get ya on the work all the time and the bs ing on here and i never really understood flowerhorns either but to each their own i just dont understand the money some of them bring kinda like designer puppies i guess

Its an asian thing, not for me to understand.

I obviously don't care for flowerhorns in the first place, since I am interested what is natural more than what is man made. I just find it ridiculous that we are miseducating the American public at the US National Zoo. I don't know how many thousands, but a whole lot of people pour through the US national zoo in DC every year and see the Amazon Exhibit. The vast majority of those people don't already know that dovii range in Central America and flowerhorns are hybrids... it is ridiculous to misinform people like this, even though most don't know or care.

Kinda off topic, but are you sure they are flowerhorns? They could be trimacs, which look a lot like flowerhorns and are one of the species used to make flowerhorns. Just a thought...;)

In addition to my previously posted hobbies and activities, I HATE FLOWERHORNS!!! Just sticking to the topic.  :naughty:
