Yeah, We're driving up through KY on our way to Warsaw. The gf definitely wants to go to fort wayne, so at the least a few of us can meet there. How far from ft wayne do you live rallysman? If its not too far, I bet a steak could coax the gf into coming with me/letting me go. If I can't go that far, it would be awesome to meet some people at ft wayne at aquarium 33 then maybe go to pet warehouse or whatever.

If I can make it there (and it will take some convincing) I like my steak medium-rare.
 
Thanks man. I'll definitely be sure to check out anything within a 10 mile radius from warsaw, then try to make the trip to rally's place after ft wayne if thats the plan. Hopefully the gf will approve since it is her fam taking me on the trip.
 
J & K Express Pets is nothing special. They normally have about the same fish stock as Wal-mart with nothing unusual. But the address is 436 S Buffalo St, Warsaw, IN. Phone number 574-268-2887. They are basically a chain of stores owned by one person with the other stores being in Huntington, Plymouth, Logansport, and Columbia City.

I know some good places around Laporte (exellent for Monsterfish), shop is call Finish Line.
There are also some good LFS in Valporaiso, In.
 
I love oddballs like plecos, etc. I wish I knew where those cities you are talking about, but in my life I have never been over the mason--dixon line. I agreed to go because its my first opportunity to leave the south. I later remembered IN is major mfk country.
 
you will probably drive right by my and repairs place on the way to warsaw....maybe you could stop by before you get there. either way, let me know :thumbsup:
there are a few good stores to check out around here. 2 in marion (which you might go past on the way to fort waynt) and one in muncie.
 
if warsaw is north of elwood than you will probly drive within 10 mins of levi
 
if you got to the one in muncie you will be 10-15min away from my house
 
Well, we are leaving from Atlanta, GA at about 5am Friday morning. The big problem is that on the way to Warsaw, my gf's mom is driving (I would drive but gas would cost me a fortune). We are most definitely getting a separate car and going to Ft Wayne on Saturday, but I'm in the process of convincing the gf to let me meet up with people at someone's house. She said she is cool with meeting people Sat at Aquarium 33, but she doesn't know if she feels comfortable going to anyone's house (I told her they are not strangers, that fellow mfk members might as well be brothers). Maybe once we meet up with some people in FT Wayne and she sees you guys aren't serial killers (lol) maybe we can expand the plan from there.

Who is up for a MFK meeting at Aquarium 33 in Ft Wayne, Indiana on Saturday, May 27th? I wanna make a list of people to PM when I know the best time (hopefully around 11-12).

The plan so far is to meet at Aquarium 33, talk, hang out, etc. Then from there maybe go to Pet Warehouse (???) and check out their selection, and check out any other lfs in the near area. Then we can figure if we can go to someone's house from there (rallysman?repair?). I'll go to as much as I can, but I bet it would even be a cool get-together even if I had to dip out early.
 
from past experiences 33 aquariums was ok but had nothing like marion...and their alot closer to levi and repair...also picture perfect in marion has alot of different plecos like you like...vampire,albino, green phantoms.etc
