i'll be making an all glasss tank about 220-260g i 'll have a nitrate reducer thing in there and that will take a chuck out of my buget so i need somthing other then glass for the bottom any ideas thanks. i'm gonna do a ply wood tank ok guys

why are you making it harder on yourself? Plywood well constructed is easier to complete then what you are asking with little or no experience

i would like to have this tank all glass as a show tank and it will make it easier for my parents to say yes i like the look of all glass on the sides better but idc about the bottom since it won't be BB. i have done my resure if i was going with a larger tank like a 500g then id make a ply wood but it woul be very hard for my parnet saying yes to a ply wood tank

I dont even know what you are asking..... Are you asking if you can have glass on all four sides and a plywood bottom? If so the answer is yes, I have a tank built this way 500+ gallons.

really i thought you couldn't i have seen other plll with other bottoms not sure what it was but i was asking that sorry guys....thanks how do you do this i understand ply wood tanks but not all glass with ply bottom....

Why don't you do the back and bottom with plywood and then the front and two sides with glass? It is the same concept as the plywood tank with glass front. You will end up with what looks like a glass tank with a wider top and bottom band.
