Basically the bottom is wood, the brace is an L 2 x 2 x 0.120. the glass sits inside the frame on top of the wood with a bed of silicone, and a silicone gasket between the glass and the brace. the plywood is fiberglassed. These are pictures as the tank sits in my dining room, I am going to remove all the old sealant and replace it.
