Apalatian Trail

My uncle hiked it for 2 weeks for a trail.And is planning a 6 month hike next spring.
 
One of my best friends hiked for a month from the begining in Maine till the trail hit New York state. He says the section in Maine is some of the most remote, hilly and rockiest part of the trail. I've only hiked about 30 miles of it from Central Pennsylvania into Maryland a few miles.
 
iv wanted to hike it for a few years now, but im only 14 so i think ill wait a few more years lol. Backpacked a 5.7 mile section of it in the smokies this past week and iv got to say its one ot my favorite trails iv ever been on.
