Maybe regular fish, but importing rays from any SA country is not happening right now.Pretty easy out of Peru actually. Columbia and Brazil are a different story all together. Business as usual with Peru.

Well, I guess we'll see in 2 weeks when they come in to port! Hope there are no issues. The total order will be in the thousands of fish. Hate to see the whole shipment tied up over a handful of rays. Someone else I know just got a shipment of castexi and motoro in from peru just recently with no issues whatsoever. Guess we'll keep our fingers crossed!Maybe regular fish, but importing rays from any SA country is not happening right now.
Good luck, things are getting confiscated in US customs by f&g.Well, I guess we'll see in 2 weeks when they come in to port! Hope there are no issues. Wow...thanks for the heads up. These rays are 100% legal and everything is on the up and up. Hopefully there isn't any issues! I'll definitely keep you posted. I have noticed there are not many wild rays available right now, one of the reasons I decided to do this. Only wild rays I know of for sale at the moment are from Peru also.Good luck, things are getting confiscated in US customs by f&g.
And not just wilds... Maybe things have cleared up by now, let us know how it goes...
Was on the phone with the importer on monday. The exporter in Peru is in the process of trying to track them down for me and said it looks good. If everything goes ok I'll have them end of May and ready to go in a month or so after that. They will more or less be coming straight to me from Peru, so I'll have to treat them and get them healthy first. I'll definitely keep you posted.Keep us posted. I might be in for one.
Peru is not going to care about shipping them out... but i would definitely check with fish and game where you would clear them because lots of big importers can not get rays right now... good luckWas on the phone with the importer on monday.
