Test your water parameters first. Let us know the exact ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and pH readings. Use API liquid kit for this.

In time the cloud eye will go it's your water i can almost garantee it even if you buy Amonia strips and nitrite strips witch are much cheaper than the kit the amonia is slightly burning the fish this is what is goin on here just have patience....

By over cleaning your filters and doing to many water changes there becomes nothing to feed on for the bacteria ..Over cleaning your filtration depending on what type but especially canister can kill to many of your bacteria ..When you or i become over zealouse in cleaning removing exactly what the bateria is feeding on that is when the trouble begins believe me i have done it ,,

The OP never mentioned cleaning his filters. I've done 100% water changes and NOTHING has gone wrong with my cycle. (I have a BB tank as well with a canister) As long as you have a strong colony established in your substrate/filters, then you should not have to worry when you do a big water change.

Strips are inaccurate. @the OP, I suggest getting the API Freshwater testing kit.
