Apple snail infusoria for fry.

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I've got fifteen left. That's pretty good for my first try and for being absent three days when they are only days old. I can already see which ones will be marbled and which ones might not. They are growing so fast! It's only been two weeks and they are 1/4" long. Thanks for the advice, everyone.

P.S. I did add media, but it was my DIY gravel cup bubbler from the apple snail's tank.

Awww, come on. No congratulations on having survivors in my first batch of any fry ever? They are looking more like angelfish everyday! Their bodies are growing deeper and they are able to eat larger chunks of food. I am soooo stoked! Two LFS's say they will buy the fry from me once they are dime-sized! Or should I wait 'till they are quarter-sized and get more money? :greed:

Good Job on the survivors! How many died? If you can wait and get more money why not?

Thanks! About a two-thirds of the number I originally isolated have died, I guess. They were hard to count at first. My guess was somewhere around 45 or fifty. There are fifteen now. Just enough to grow out a little in the ten gallon.
You pooted?

I'm sure the numbers will improve as you have more batches.

I know my pooted cartoon is goofy, this is why I like it. :D
