Hi All,

I am currently building a cement fish tank with the following size

Length - 8 feet
Width - 3 feet
Height - 3 feet

I am planning to have a front facing tempered glass setup and have purchased a 12mm tempered glass with the size of 8 ft * 3ft * 3ft but I am now not sure if 12mm tempered thickness is strong enough for the tank.

This is my first time building a tank and any help or suggestion would be appreciated.

Thank you

If you want to play it safe, just make your viewing window a bit shorter, which will add more glass around the perimeter for support as well. If you went with a window say 92"x24" that piece of glass would work fine imo.
