Sorry to hear man, good job seperating her though.

However I have good news i am talking over upgrading the 55 we have with the FH Love my FH but if I get a 90 then I'd want to try a mix of cichlids, def would want a nice big Oscar though. Maybe with a Dempsey, or terror. Or try some salvini with an O.

A 90 gl is a good size tank for an O by himself, its not big enough for an adult O and an adult of any of the fish you mentioned above.

Very nasty, but the one I had just lurked in its cave and jumped on anything that came in front of it, but IMO it's more territorial aggression

You can't beat the beauty of a nice Sal. Similar to above, I used to have a female (see pic below), who would fly out from underneath driftwood and take pot-shots at large Cichlids. They are mean little fish who instinctively nip at and harass certain tank mates.

Love them, I'd keep one with my mota but I don't want him to kill the salvini
