You know I've got an entry in this contest, and voted for myself as soon as it came online, but I have to say that #12 rocks (and no it's not mine). It's definately the best of the bunch from a technical standpoint. Click on the images to enlarge and you can really see it. It's super sharp, even in large size, lighting is perfect and when enlarged it doesn't show any artifacts from having massive amounts of exposure compensation done in post processing, and I like the subject matter. The two fish look personable and are great looking.
There are a lot of good images in this contest, but if you enlarge some of the ones that are getting a lot of votes, you can see that they really aren't as crisp, and you can also see some of the fringing, grain and other artifacts commom to doing heavy correcting of exposure in photo shop.
