Aqua Arts-Lying Scam artists BUYER BEWARE!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Certain people you just don't want to deal with especially ones that change there stories all the time. Their intention is up to no good. It's like dealing with a local used car dealer. They will tell you anything to take your money. One time I asked a used car dealer what is the blue book of the car and his response was "how much you are willing to pay for the car?" I told him I have to know the value because when it comes down to selling it, I do want to be getting nothing for it. It's the reputation that makes the person.

WVdiscus-he knew I was the same person-not sure what you want to call someone who says he is giving you a different tank when it's really the same one for $1100 more...
either way, this company is not trustworthy

OK, I re-read your original post and I took it to mean you first dealt with this Alex guy from AA, then you went through this other guy named John. So I didn't think John told Alex you were the same guy. You are saying Alex knew you were the same person who contacted him ealier and tried to sell the aquarium he priced you @ $2300 for $3400. I see. My guess the priced raised because maybe John wanted his cut for a "finders fee" or something???

what the seller did was lie to the guy and said that someone else is also about to buy the tank, trying to coerce the buyer by telling him someone else is gona buy it if he doesnt jump no this deal! his deception fell through and so he bumped the price up to this other guy on prolly a whim. or like the last poster said, he wanted his finders fee. just call back the original guy and pretend to be someone else with a much lower budget and that you are also looking at another tank that size in your budget but that he's closer or whatever cockamamy reason you want to tell him. dude is a liar might as well lie back lol

tell him you're a vet with real bad pts and you think staring a hobby in fish keeping will help calm you down

I understand the frustration, but just say no thank you and move on, there are plenty of other people who are selling large tanks out there, especially if it has a leak, I would not be spending any $$ on leaky tank, especially a large tank

Damn they really are going all out trying to sell this tank, although i really dont get the constant price range going up and down like a yoyo...

Something doesnt add up?

I wonder if the seller now mentions the leak in his MFK thread or have they "fixed" it...
