aqua clear filters in terrarium setups

I plan to use a 20 gallon Tank w the water at least half of the Tank Height I have seen other tanks in the past in store setups and the aquaclears always started back up. When I kept corals for 20 yrs I had an aquaclear on my sump and never had a problem so long as the siphon extend to the bottom and it will pull water.

Same here, as long as the water extends past the hole on the intake it will pull water, it may take a few extra minutes to prime, thats about it. IMO

Thats been my experience My favorite Hang on, Eheim for my canisters.

At the shop we use the Tetra whisper 20i. Works well enough, plus smaller and no splashing. We have the return water flowing down a piece of mopani wood with some java moss. The frogs dig it.
