Hello my aqua clear 70 was running fine but I just switched out some new media I wanted to put in there and now it’s just humming and not pushing in water please help ( only 3 months old)

Have you tried cleaning out the entire filter in old aquarium water there may be stuck waste or debris it’s happened to me before

Do you know how to prime them?

ACs when unplugged will naturally drain the water into the main tank till the siphon is broken.
To get it going again you need to refill the AC with tank water. Now plug it back in, may take a couple minutes for it to refill the intake tube, then will start operating normally.

Cleaning out that impeller should definitely positively affect the flow rate once you get the filter back up and running.
