aqua clear if u want to get a discount on them at petsmart goto their website and print out the webpage that has the prices on them and show them it at the register they will give u the website price which is about $10 less
 
i have 2 emp 400s on my 75 and i like em. i just cut my own rinsable mech instead of using the cartridges. AC is just as solid im sure, and way easier to clean. maybe more flow too? never had an AC larger than a 150.
 
how long a does a filter, like the motor on these actaully last....i have 3 , and 1 just started getting really loud and noisy, but water still flows, i cleaned it best i could but it is still loud, i think the motor is giving out or something is just stuck in the prop... any tips or should i just get a new one... i have had this one running about 2 years or more.. thanks

its time to buy new parts for your filter the parts are cheap... :thumbsup:
 
i think ac filters have a lifetime warranty...if i am correct on this, you might be able to get a brand new one! :thumbsup:
 
you know how to replace the motor? i think the best thing you can do is call tech support up and see what they say.

Better yet, check out Big al's online, petsolutions.com, petsmart. Petsmart will ad match ANY price if you have a printout.
