Hey,

Im used to buying fish online however never really bidded for fish...and honestly never even went on aquabid till today. I fear scammers and so far only trust in liveaquaria and all vendors of mfk.

Can anyone recommend any sellers on aquabid or going by thier ratings is best?

Also any tips about aquabid?

Thanks!

Aquabid is a legit website, like ebay though, there is always the scammer. most scams involve the fish just not being what they say (you do get the fish just not the specific one you bid on). As long as your not trying to buy a "Red eyed platinum XXXXX" you should be good.

I've purchased multiple things from Aquabid over the years - only one bad experience with a DOA that was refunded.
It all depends on the seller - I don't usually trust anyone with little feedback, and sometimes the items for sale are just a dead give away of a scam. Which you can also get opinions as to whether or not it seems legitimate by just posting the link of the item for sale.

I know Ive ordered from Lotsoffish many times and have always received good fish

Love it for plants, haven't needed it for fish.

Use it all the time no problems so far expect 1 DOA bag that was refunded.

It is a good way to buy and sell fish. Usually sticking with buyers with a pattern of good feedback is the way to go. If you don't want to take a risk on the fish, paying for Express shipping is the way to go. As with anything if it looks to good to be true, it probably is.
