Does anyone know why on Aquabid the minimum bid is the same price as the Buy It Now function? That doesn't make any sense to me, because why would anyone ever bid then, when for the same price as the minimum bid you can just buy it?

Any tips for how to get/find deals on Aquabid?

Just trying to figure it out, because there was a fish I anted to bid on (never bought from them before) and I thought I could bid less than the Buy It Now, but apparently not.

They probably just wanted somebody to buy it for that price and not get it cheaper......the people who make the auction choose the price

I think it's a requirement from Aquabid, hence the name of the website "aqua-bid".

The buy now price is the minimum price the seller wants or is asking for the fish. The seller, most of the time local fish store or importer, wants a determined price with the buy it now price. They don't bother about the bid process.
