Have you guys used aquabid before? Do you trust it? If so who are some reputable sellers? And if an animal is imported shouldn't there be a record of what species it is from coming through customs? Or are they that detail oriented as far as the species of fish being imported? I've seen some instances when the government bans a certain genus rather than individual species. Is that how customs/collection/importation works? Thanks just a lot of questions.

I've purchased from sellers on Aquabid before. I never had a problem. There are a lot of good sellers on there and some not so good. Check out their feedback ratings before buying.
I used it before and it was pretty good...I deal mainly with local vendors and snook21...now if you want to buy Asian aros in US for $300 and uses aquabid, you deserve whatever is coming to you 
On www.AquaScapeOnline.com, peacock red, peacock yellow and strawberry peacock dosn't really do it for me for Africans
This. Some of the sellers are actual aquarium stores trying to reach the online market.
I've had good experiences using Aquabid, though now most auctions are BIN, which means you're not getting great deals most of the time. Often I'll look to see who has what and contact the vendor directly, especially if I want a different quantity than they are auctioning.
