Aquabid?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I've used it a half dozen times in the last 6 months. I had no problem. The only fish death I had was one from a group that I actually picked up locally. (go figure) However, I haven't tried any of the international sellers. I'm a little leary about trying that.

I have used aquabid and had good result with snook21 very healthy fish and great packaging. Make sure to read feedback scores

I just got my Marble Achara from snook21 and I am EXTREMELY pleased. I also purchased my Dragon Puffer from wetspot on aquabid, again EXTREMELY satisfied.
Like others have said, check those feedback ratings first.

^ agreed.

don't do it
some good sites are
www.AquaScapeOnline.com
www.ThatFishPlace.com
Aquascape is a good source and they are vendors on MFK.....ThatFishPlace does not seem to bother with updating their website stocklist.I don't know how they expect someone to order from them if everything that is listed is "out of stock".......Not sure how customs works as far as dealing with imported fish but there are some good sellers on aquabid. Some of them even used to be vendors on MFK that I have dealt with before.

Used aquabid to import bettas from Thailand twice and all fish arrived well and alive both times. Fish are first shipped to a transhipper that takes care of all the customs paperwork. The transshipper then repackages your fish in new water and bags, then ships them off to you. Fish are generally in transit for 3 - 5 days total before arriving at your doorstep. I've bought from domestic sellers on aquabid without any problems either.
