Man, if I had run my remora all the way down that bugger would have overflowed within the day...

I agree.

Were you guys running the pro model or the smaller remora?

I am running the smaller one with a maxijet 1200.

ok... i was just curious because some said it would take a week and some say hours to fill up... i currently have mine down all the way right now... getting white foam still however the bottom of the cup has a little "dirty water" in it... Not a brown sludge or anything... just off colored water

Starting to work!!!

The time it takes to start working can vary by model, brand, and even batch they were made in. Basically, the finish on the materials when its new need to wear off for it to work.

Well i did buy it used

I bought mine used as well. It still seems to work better after a week or so but I started mine on a new tank so that kind of makes sense.

Hey, I dont mean to steal your thread, but i think it would be stupid to make another one about the remora. Im thinking about purchasing the aquac remora pro version finally, but which pump (rio 1400 vs mad 3) should be best and is the pre skimmer attacment worth it?
