Aquaclear 110 OR?

Yea I run two fx5's with just pond matrix and stock sponge ... An my ac110 with sponge an polishing pads really puts a nice touch on my 200 gallon I also have been using them for many years an almost recommend them for small tanks or an addition to larger ones

I used to run 2 of them on a 45-gallon tank. I used 2 of them to house the LARGE-JAG in my profile PIC. It was a temp setup after I had to sell my 150G and move back home.

I used the foam blocks in both, one loaded with the foam block and 4 bags of the AquaClear pre-netted bio-max. The other I ran with the foam block, and a media bag of Eheim substrat-pro, taken from 1 of my Eheim canisters that ran on the 150G, so I could have some bio for the new 45G.

Even with a fish of that size in that tank, I could go for aprox 3-4 days before a water change.
