AquaClear 110

I have a 112 gallon tank and I have 2 aquaclear 110s. Is this enough filtration for the tank?

It depends on the bio load of the fish that you put in the 112 gallon. You need to test your parameters periodically. I suggest before your weekly water changes. Also bioload will increase as the fish grow or adding a fish.

1 medium Oscar 7”; another Oscar 4”; and 1 convict 3”. No other fish will be added

It sounds like it will with proper water changes and filter maintenance but test water parameters like stated earlier and increase filtration if necessary.

Depends on your bioload, also your setup of said 110s. Bunch of small fish with what it comes with should be fine. Big fish, might want to add more bio-rings.
Mine have two of the bags of standard 110 rings, also a bag of AC50 rings for starting up new tanks/ hospital tanks.
Can use what ever bio-rings you want, just saying bigger fish you will want to add more than just what it comes with.

If I get a canister used from someone can I use media they have used?
If it's a running tank you take risk of bringing in something. If already dried out just rinse in super hot water and should be golden.

Edit just like you would the rest of the filter before adding it.

Tbh a sump would be better. Yes if only you know that their aquarium had no issues such as bacterial, fungal or parasites. Tbh wouldn't use the media if the canister filter came from someone I didn't know.
