I got an AC70 for 27.99 from the printout. I have a feeling they caught on, it's not hard for them to find out because it goes in the computer as a price match or whatever they technically call it over there.

I price matched some Seachem Bio Matrix from bigalsonline.com at my petsmart. Got it for i think 7.99 a liter as opposed to the i think 13.99 or so they charge in store!
pricematching is good. i juust bought a ac 70 two weeks ago for $27.99, because i pricematched it. at the store it was $46.99 (petsmart)

hell now that i think about it......just print out the cheapest AC add you can find online from a store (usually big als, that pet place, pet solutions ) and use that one (who cares about the petsmart printout!!), it works 90 % of the time at my local petsmart.........

The manager DID say "We usually only price patch our own online price..but I know our online price's are close to Big Al's." and he went ahead and did it for me. Who was I to argue...or let him know that they have been taken off their own website!
I simply knodded my head ina agreement and said "Thank You!"
I did also bring in the Petsmart online price for some of the AC media that was crazy cheap...but interestingly enough..they did not have those particular sizes on the shelf in the store...no labels either MMmmmmmmmmmm???

For my dollar I shop Petsmart. Petco doesn't match pricing and it always seems they are more expensive anyways. Petsmart advertises "Customer Satisfaction" and as a result will price match ANY add.... I've used Big Al's for example with no problem. I usually do try to use the Petsmart add ... just seems more ethical. I'm wondering why the change with the Aquaclears., also I've noticed they seem to be "dumping" the rena xp filters accessories here.... very little replacement medias left....? Just had to order mine online.
