Aquafuge refugium ps

I'm looking into the CPR aquafuge refugium w/ protein skimmer & light. This will be my first saltwater tank, I've been keeping aquariums for 10 years or so and have been planning and researching this tank for around a year now. Just want to know what your take is on these things. I have no intention of doing a sump btw, I have small children and a HOB model will keep it out of reach

Aquatraders sells generic hob sump for 1/3 of the price of a cpr aquafuge.

I just purchased the CPR refugium , unfortunately I've had it for 3 days so I can't tell you much about it yet ..but I did a lot of research and considered buying the aqua traders refugium mentioned above .but I read a lot of reviews and heard from a few people that some rubber connector would fail and leak frequently .if you choose to go that route I recommend you do some research on google .also nysteelo has a great review video on the CPR aquafuge on you tube you should check it out

Yea I've watched steelos reviews on it. I'm pretty sure this is the model I'm going after. The aqua traders one didn't have a option for a light and wanted a separate charge for the power head
