i think AC has been kind to me about my overstocking tank :) :D

Master Li, If the fish are doing well and healthy, I say it's rightly stocked regardless of how much fish is stuffed in the tank. ;)

It's not easy but can be done succesfully with little risk to the fish.:)

I was told that my 265 was overstocked over there LOL....

I didnt tell them that I havent done a water change in 5 months:)

I have been keeping fishes for 11 years and to the AC folks, that is not enough..Every time I post a person with probably no experience or dont know what they are talking about will contradict what I say..So I say to myself, AC and the other boards, I dont post at all or not that much..Guess 11 years and experience with keeping a lot of differenct fishes is not good enough for every board I go to..

ARC, I know what you're talking about and I have to say that's probably AC's biggest downfall. If you don't conform to the culture there, or the "accepted" standards for fish-keeping, people tend to ostracize that member. It is unfortunate, but I am aware of it. Again, I think it's a symptom of how much traffic we get there. It gives people a need to fit in, to proudly display that they are "in with the cool crowd", and differentiate themselves from the Noobs.

Not much I can do about it, though. :( Except that I personally try to be accepting and accomodating of different viewpoints. As long as the fish aren't at risk, it should be all gravy, right?

Before I came to MFK, I posted at "another" fish site, not AC. I told them I wanted to keep clown loaches, and they said it was impossible. "They grow to 12" and you have to keep at least 5, so you'd have to have a tank of at least 250 gallons!" That was my last question there.

Yea, right, I remember a person with 2 ammonia, 0 nitrate and 0 nitrate, and everyone said that tank was cycled with 0 nitrate and 2 ammonia..And Bio Spira will not help cycle that tank..Yea ,right...And there are a lot of things going around..I been posting in AC since 1998 and you know why there is such a high turnover? You rarely see members having a thing saying, member since 2000, 2001..It is because, people tend to avoid that place..

Yea, I guess you are in the cool crowd too because I know you are a mod..And I know you are not above the rest in knowledge, just because of your title..
