So, who plans to use their $1400+USD to improve the lives of their fish? Sure the "right" thing to do is put it into savings or stock, replace that appliance that keeps failing, or even buy school supplies, clothing, or food for your family. However, I live in the reality where the vast majority of Americans will inevitably spend this windfall on frivolities and trinkets, hobbies, or weekend trips to florida or texas.

So that being said, what will you be upgrading or replacing? Come join me in confessing, I have already ordered a jebao dcp-20000 for God knows whatever reason. I plan to go to a favorite lfs tomorrow for some replacement heaters. And lastly, I'm thinking about consulting my glass guy to make some "expansions" on current tank plans.

In the meantime, I will continue to ignore that broken dryer...weathers getting nice for line drying anyway.

I wanna say I've looked at that list before. I believe that retailer may be defunct/out of business...I dont think that page has been updated in years--looks like 2019 by the postscript at bottom of the page.

Ime, glass tank prices have gone up quite a bit these last few years. They used to sell those seapora tanks on amazon, I dont know if they do anymore or not.

I think you could put together a pretty sweet 100 gallon setup for $1400 or less though.
