I also like the wood, but the filler & fiberglass makes it ugly :p. So i will paint the in and outside. Dont know what colour yet.

I will definitely consider this, as i am shortly moving into a 10th floor apartment, been wondering forever about the max size of tank i can have.
I will consult with my builder/structural engineer tomorrow and identify places within my apartment where such a load distribution is possible.

My advice would be to consult the engineer. He could make an rapport of the total weight your floor can handle. Im glad my tank is hanging in the walls, so i dont have to worry about anything.

Thanks for all the positif reactions :)! This build can be done by everyone, you just need to take your time.

Because of my vacation im not really progressing :P. The filter closet is not finished. I installed the electricty & light.

I want to do 2 more layers of epoxy before painting eveything. After the painting 1 last layer of expoxy and then the glass can get in
